Beautiful mummy to be Camilla was 28 weeks pregnant when she came to our studio for her Maternity Photo Session in Hoylake Wirral.
She said she was very nervous because she really didn’t feel nice being pregnant at all; she just felt big and unattractive. She just didn’t know what to expect at all.

Her older child is called Oliver & he is 2. He was born premature so she was a bit apprehensive about this pregnancy & had fortnightly checks to ensure the baby was happy & healthy.

With Oliver she had to have help getting pregnant as she had POCS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and so when she became pregnant this time round it was a total shock and so unexpected as they didn’t plan on having anymore. With having to have help, then Oliver being premature, being poorly and having a few issues she didn’t want to go through that experience again. But after getting over the shock she & her partner were so excited about having another & Oliver would definitely enjoy being a big brother.

She said she would absolutely recommend a maternity shoot to any pregnant lady. She didn’t like the idea at first and was unsure what to expect or even if the shots would be tasteless with her belly being on show but once she was here at our studio she felt totally relaxed and at ease. After all that is our main aim.

On her session day we had a make up artist and a hair stylist from Glamourfied Beauty in our studio as this all comes part of our Maternity Photo Session package.

Camilla said “The beauty team were amazing and she just felt beautiful. With a 2 year old at home and a partner who works away it was so lovey to sit & be pampered for a bit and have an adult conversation”.

 
Once she received the pictures she was so overwhelmed with how she looked and the end result. She thought they were absolutely gorgeous, she was happy to show people & she most definitely will be having them on display in her home. After looking at the pictures she regrets not doing it with her first born and she is just so glad she booked with Derya Vicars Photography and now they have memories to look at and treasure as she certainly won’t be having anymore children.
Interestingly Camilla said this photo session has totally changed her perception of the female body whilst pregnant and makes all the aches & pains worth while.
